14 - Paddlers Cove Cottage By The Sea at Alder Bay

Our stay at Alder Bay was absolutely incredible. The setting is stunning, peaceful, beautiful, and the kind of place that instantly slows you down the moment you arrive. It felt like a true escape. The cottage itself was high-end and thoughtfully designed, with everything you could possibly need. It was warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable, the perfect place to relax after a full day of exploring. You can tell a lot of care went into making the space feel both luxurious and cozy at the same time. What really made it special for us was how perfectly it worked as a hub for our Jeep adventure. Whether we were heading out or coming back to unwind, it felt like home. Quiet mornings, relaxing evenings, and that constant feeling of being exactly where you’re supposed to be. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave and that says it all. We’ll absolutely be back.

It’s a great little cabin, well located to explore the north island. The Kitchen was well stocked. The view was beautiful. We were very comfortable!

Fabulous location. Lovely cottage. All conveniences of home. Lots of wildlife. Pet friendly - even has a dog run. Hosts were great and easy to communicate. Thanks for all your help

Great location, great communication, and friendly staff. I gave a 4 star because the master bedroom mattress was awful and I wasn’t able to sleep on it.
